Audeze Isine 10 Headphones

The thing with the earphone market is that you normally look at the market landscape and realise just how saturated the market. It actually is, simply because there is little to no room for any drastic changes that can truly make someone look at the earphones and go like “wow, I really want to try these out”. However, things have changed with the Audeze iSine 10 earphones. Why? That is what we want to find out.

For starters, these planar magnetic earphones are open back; yes, an open back pair of earphones that do live up to the name and the price tag, as well. Are they actually good or are they full of marketing fluff? That is what we are going to look at in this article, and see what the hype is all about.

Design

The sad thing about the earphone market is that this market is so saturated that whatever design is available in the market, you can find a lot of earphones that look the same. This means that most of the options available in the market look the same to some extent. However, the great thing about the Audeze iSine 10 earphone is that they look the part.

They might look a big because of their open back style, but I can assure you that these earphones do not come in between the functionality as far as the design is concerned. Another good thing is that the cables are detachable, so if someone does go wrong, you can always replace the cable and be on your way. You will have no issues.

Overall, I have to say that in terms of the design, the iSine 10 are near perfect. They are different; they look fresh, and most importantly the design is not something to show, it actually is a part of the functionality, which is really cleverly implemented.

Comfort

As far as the comfort is concerned, at first I was a bit intimidated by these earphones simply because of the fact that they look big. However, I am really glad that it is not the issue. Despite the somewhat bigger construction of these headphones, the great thing is that they feel re ally, really good.

The overall weight distribution on these earphones is really, really well done. They are lightweight through and through, and most importantly, the best thing about these earphones is that they are super comfortable, too.

If you are not used to wearing earphones that have somewhat bigger housing, then it will take some time to adjust, but once you get used to it, you will find the earphones to have a really great comfort.

Needless to say, Audeze has done a great job with designing these earphones in terms of the comfort. I could not have asked for something better in terms of comfort.

Performance

This is one of the bits that I was most excited to test out. Why? Because I have had a long career testing out different headphones or earphones. However, I have never used open back earphones. So, I was genuinely excited to see just how they sound.

Thankfully, the expectations I had with the Audeze iSine 10; the sound is great. The mid-range frequency on these earphones are great, and are among the finest you can actually experience.

Another great thing about these earphones is that they are really good when it comes to the sound separations, and the whole concept of spatiality is something that works really, really well. The sound is clean; making every single track an experience in its own right.

However, there is something that I would like to address as not everything is perfect about these earphones.

For starters, the earphones, due to the open back design, will leak out sound, which also means that they will allow the outside noise to get in. This is not something that works in the favour of the noise isolation. Additionally, the treble on these earphones can be harsh at times.

This means that you might have to adjust the equalizer just a bit so you can make the sound according to your preference.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I have a lot to say about the Audeze iSine 10 and the thing that you need to know about these earphones is that they are among the most definitive experience I have had with a pair of earphones.

Sure, they are not something that can match your full sized headphones, and they do carry a hefty price tag on them, but if you overlook that just a bit, you realise that the Audeze iSine 10 is definitely a marvel in technology, and the overall performance is something that is extremely amazing, and you should have a great experience with them.

Needless to say, if you are looking for something high end, and budget is not something that is holding you back, then going for these earphones is definitely the right thing to do as these headphones are amazing.
